The Player Headquarters is not just an ordinary station. It is, in fact, the most powerful station the player can own and has many uses.
- The HQ is the "home base" for your empire, use it to control all of your assets.
- The HQ is a very powerful station, it can protect you at times of need.
- The HQ can serve as a shipyard - you can build, repair, and recycle ships.
- The HQ allows you to reverse-engineer ships, so that you can build ships that aren't sold in shipyards (like the Goner Ranger and the Xenon LX).
- The HQ can also make your fleet unique by changing the colour scheme of your ships.
- The HQ can repair itself, once it is damaged.
- The HQ is able to store masses of all wares - even station construction kits.
