To register your Steam version of X3: Terran Conflict, do as follows:
- In Steam, go to the "My games" tab and right-click on the X3: Terran Conflict entry.
- Choose the menu option "Register my game". This will open a page with the registration code.
- On the Egosoft forums, go to your Profile (this is in the Control Panel on the right side of the forums index page).
- Enter the registration code in the "Game Registration Code" box at the bottom of the page, and click on "Submit".
Note: If the right-click link in Steam takes you to the game folder rather than the page with registration code then your Steam installation may need updating:
- In Steam, go to the "My games" tab and right-click on the X3: Terran Conflict entry.
- Select "Properties", then the "Local Files" tab, and finally the "Verify integrity of game cache" button.
- Once Steam has finished checking/updating your installation, repeat the registration steps described above.
If you are still experiencing problems, you should contact Steam Support.
Please note: There isn't a separate registration code for the Steam version of X3: Albion Prelude. However, the X3TC code already grants you access to all X3TC and X3AP specific forums and downloads.
