How do I get rid of station debris?

With patience!

In the vanilla game there's no way to destroy or move the debris left after a station is wrecked, but it will disappear of its own accord after a few game days.

Note: Station and ship debris which is part of the scenery (e.g. the destroyed stations in President's End) will never decay.
