The Singularity Engine Time Accelerator, or for short S.E.T.A., is an extension of the normal ship drive and is based on a spatial-temporary distortion phenomenon. The effect of this drive can be set in steps upto 10 using the SHIFT-O menu. When SETA is activated the pilot experiences apparent time compression. What results is a game accelerated up to a factor of ten. ALL processes in the X-Universe will then run faster by the defined factor.
If the player is in danger of a collision or if the player tries to change course, the SETA is deactivated automatically.
